michigan has alot of bugs and even tho i don't think we will have a problem with them...we could. nothing is ever sure with mother nature here in michigan. so in that aspect of being prepared you have to be prepared for everything.

so i dont need a mosquito net? good I always have MORE trouble with those damn nets, I get bees/flies caught under there then its a struggle trying to get them out. An ez-up for shade worked great for me.

We usually spray our exposed areas at the tent and stick a bug repellent pre-packaged wipe in my bag just in case, but we've never had to use it. We even hung out down by the Lake one night til almost dawn and it was fine as wine.

An ez-up for shade worked great for me. We had the screen porch on our tent completely open at rothbury. There might be mosquitoes that require spray or attention given that part of the state that time of year, but they sure stayed away at both rothburys.
