I'm just curious what people will think the vibe will be like. I am proud to say I attended the first and last Rothbury and I loved the vibe and atmosphere there. I know this isn't rothbury, but do you think it will be similar at all? I got my ticket, so I coming regardless. The reason I'm asking for opinions is because I go to a lot of festivals and I do henna and bodypaint and stuff like that. I'm just not sure if this is will have the kind of crowd that would be into that sort of stuff. I would hate to pack up all of my equipment for no reason, ya know? Please let me know your thoughts!!

You will do awesome! There will be a smaller crowd but just as many EDM fans get painted as Jam fans everyone loves it! I think the henna will still be good too. I hope people will change their thoughts of EDM girls soon

While the comparisons to other festivals are natural, this is definitely a one of a kind festival. That being said, I don't think EFF will be so much different than what you experienced in '08 and '09. Those saying it's a cheese fest are wrong, as are those saying it's too much EDM. It's easy to compare EFF to rothbury because of the venue and the acts, but this looks to be more condensed than rothbury ever was. IMHO, this will be more intense than rothbury. More tight. If they get the slotting of the acts right, they have all the acts they need already on the bill to offer great diversity by day, and serious choices available each night. As for your gear, I'm certain both the fans coming for funk and jams, AND those coming for dub and dance, will be down for some fun.

i think that the people that go this festival are really going to want to be there and enjoy themselves...
there may be a lot of hate generating on this festival, but those people wont be in attendance... they will be at phish or whereever else that weekend... i think that the vide is going to be splendid, positive, and extremely upbeat the people that i know that are going are very very excited to be going
festivalpainter--bring all your equipment because these people will be very in to that!! havent you seen SCI before? trust me

There's a lot of people lashing out because they can't afford to go, or are afraid of change, but they won't be joining us!!Soon the haterade will run out, and they'll get their WG tix or plan on something smaller near their home. In the meantime I'm excited for what EFF has in store for us, and I'm gonna stay pumped up till we hit The Forest!

Lulz on the hater pic! ... and I'm gonna stay pumped up till we hit The Forest! Then what? IDK, my plan WAS to streak, but with everyone being weirded out by The Speedwagon, I'm afraid they might get confused about where they are. Time and space can play tricks on even the most experienced of fest goers. Don't wanna make it worse.
